Touchstone Essentials taps telomerase science with new anti-aging botanical innovation
Touchstone Essentials unveils its longevity supplement, Telo-Vital, for the natural anti-aging nutraceuticals market. Developed by longevity researcher, Dr. Bill Andrews, the product is formulated with organic botanicals targeting the root cause of aging and was first introduced at Dave Asprey’s Biohacking Conference (May 28-30) in Austin, Texas, US.
Telo-Vital is designed to target telomeres — the body’s “master key” of aging — by supporting telomerase activation. Expanding scientific evidence supports the theory that telomeres, the small tips on DNA, are the cellular drivers of aging. With every cell renewal process, these telomere tips get shorter, bringing on the changes that come with age.
Andrews and his team of researchers tested over 10,000 botanicals to find specific plant extracts that induce telomerase in human cells, which they claim support telomere health and “longevity from within.” These exclusive organic plant extracts form the foundation of Telo-Vital.
“People are living longer and want ways to add more life to their years. Andrews is the top scientist in the field of telomere research. His discovery of natural telomerase activators is a game-changer in nutrition science. The introduction of Telo-Vital is a breakthrough that can enable people to live to their fullest potential,” says Touchstone Essentials Founder and CEO, Eddie Stone.

Featured in documentaries including The Immortalists and Longevity Hackers, Andrews specializes in cellular health and anti-aging science. He holds over 35 years of research around discoveries on telomeres and 50 patents.
Telo-Vital targets cellular aging “at the source,” with claims to support “feeling more youthful,” including energy levels, restful sleep, skin appearance, fast recovery, and resilience.
Longevity nutraceuticals
Increasingly consumers seek products not just to extend their lifespan, but also healthspan. In other words, healthy aging is about living well for longer. In response, nutraceutical innovation has been accelerating around clinically validated biotics, precision-formulated vitamin and mineral blends, and emerging botanical compounds.
Innova Market Insights’ data suggests that one in three consumers globally consider healthy aging their top physical health priority. From October 2019 to September 2024, healthy aging product launches grew by an average of 9% annually, with supplements comprising 59% and North America leading the market.
In line with this trend, personalized nutrition has been gaining momentum, fueling an interest in genomics to help consumers fine-tune supplementation strategies based on their genetic makeup. Nutrition Insight previously caught up with Bryce Wylde, co-founder of The DNA Company, to examine how genes “influence health, predict disease risk to some degree, and guide personalized nutrition and lifestyle strategies.”
Meanwhile, scientists at the biopharmaceutical company CCM Biosciences recently discovered enzyme activators that restore a “previously undruggable” mitochondrial regulator of cellular energy production to youthful activity levels. These enzyme-stimulating compounds show promise for cellular rejuvenation and treating age-related diseases, the company highlights.
