Personalized Health Rx launches telehealth weight management app for GLP-1 meds and nutrition advice
Personalized Health Rx (PHRx) has launched its direct-to-consumer telehealth weight management platform, integrating weight-loss medications, customized nutritional support and board-certified doctor guidance.
“At its core, Personalized Health Rx is enabling individuals to receive personalized solutions that address immediate goals like weight loss while creating a foundation for whole-body wellness,” says Jason Brown, founder and CEO of Personalized Health Rx.
“Our approach combines GLP-1 medications with tailored nutritional support, delivered seamlessly to fit into everyday life. As we grow, we’ll expand to include programs that tackle other critical health concerns to help individuals achieve lasting wellness.”
Program offerings
The rising popularity of GLP-1 agonist drugs has been fueling brand activity in targeted nutrition innovation and wellness trackers designed to complement the weight loss therapy. Without an appropriate dietary protocol, these prescriptions can cause temporary and long-term side effects like critical nutritional gaps and muscle loss.
The PHRx program offers FDA-approved GLP-1 medications, such as semaglutide and tirzepatide, which are prescribed and overseen by board-certified doctors via telehealth consultations.
The platform provides “secure, user-friendly” access to board-certified doctors and nutritionists for screening, prescriptions, follow-ups and ongoing support.

It also hosts one-on-one nutrition counseling by Persona Nutrition to complement its users’ treatment plan, addressing metabolic health, weight management, overall nutrition and drug-nutrient interactions.
HRx suggests personalized nutrition supplement-based solutions for individuals who do not qualify for GLP-1 prescriptions or as further support for those who do qualify.
