PLT Health Solutions debuts water-dispersible RipFactor for muscle growth and endurance

PLT Health Solutions unveils an advanced water-dispersible version of its RipFactor Muscle Accelerator — an ingredient for strength, endurance and muscle growth. According to the company, the new offering boost the product’s sensory and organoleptic qualities, making it ideal for ready-to-mix powders (RTM), protein powders, stick packs, gummies and other formats where taste, functionality and consumer experience are essential.

At the upcoming SupplySide West 2024 trade show (October 30–31) in Las Vegas, Nevada, US, PLT Health Solutions will introduce the PLT Experience Zone to highlight RipFactor as a key component of its beverage and RTM Platform.

The company will also feature Zynamite S for mental and physical enhancement and the newly introduced cellflo6, designed to boost endurance and blood flow.

Botanical-based performance boost

PLT Health Solutions emphasizes that RipFactor advanced water dispersible utilizes particle engineering techniques initially designed for pharmaceutical uses, such as advanced milling, encapsulation, taste masking and proprietary granulation methods. The ingredient contains botanical extracts from the flower heads of East Indian Globe Thistle and Mango Tree bark.

The innovative ingredient was developed utilizing PLT Health Solutions’ in-house formulation team and experts from Pharmachem Innovations — a global nutraceutical technologies and ingredient supply. The award-winning ingredient has been clinically proven to boost strength, endurance, muscle mass and testosterone levels in men.

Moreover, Brett Bernier, the director of sports and active nutrition at PLT Health Solutions and the lead on the RipFactor advanced water dispersible project, spotlights that, though botanical complexes can pose considerable difficulties in formulation in some delivery formats, the ingredient overcomes this development hurdle.

“Plant-based materials like botanicals can be difficult to formulate due to flavor issues as well as particle size and density challenges,” Bernier explains. “That’s why botanical applications are often restricted to tablets and capsules.”
