PawCo unveils Magic Cookie line of AI-formulated functional dog biscuits
Pet nutrition company PawCo Foods is introducing its latest innovation, the Magic Cookie, a line of functional dog biscuits designed to merge targeted health benefits with the everyday treat time. Debuted at Superzoo 2025, the offering completes PawCo’s growing “Magic” portfolio of functional treats and toppers and is now available for purchase online.
The Magic Cookie follows the success of PawCo’s Magic Bars to meet the growing consumer demand for pet treats as purposeful nutrition rather than indulgences.
Developed under the leadership of Dr. Mahsa Vazin, PawCo’s founder and CEO and former lead food scientist at Impossible Foods, the biscuits combine AI-driven formulation with the expertise of board-certified animal nutritionists.
“We’re redefining what dog treats can do,” says Vazin. “Magic Cookie delivers real health benefits in a crunchy, delicious biscuit that’s perfect for daily treating, training, or just showing your dog some love.”
Addressing canine health needs
The product line is available in five formulas, designed to support specific aspects of canine wellness, including gut health, heart health, joint mobility, skin and coat vitality, and everyday wellness.
The company highlights that each recipe is built with functional ingredients such as omega fatty acids, antioxidants, and other scientifically selected nutrients to ensure the treats deliver tangible and palatable health benefits.
The biscuits are also vet-approved, formulated to exceed Association of American Feed Control Officials standards, and developed with PawCo’s ongoing commitment to sustainability in mind.
“With Magic Cookie, we’ve created a crunchy, craveable biscuit that also supports key areas of canine health — making functional nutrition simple, accessible, and enjoyable for dogs,” Vazin underscores.
Recent pet food advancements
PawCo also spotlights its recent Pet Sustainability Coalition Accreditation for ethical sourcing practices and has broadened its retail footprint through expanded distribution on Amazon and in veterinary clinics.
The company also recently scaled up its commercial production of plant-based nutrition for dogs.
