Lubrizol expands distribution deal with Arihant Innochem for nutraceutical portfolio
Lubrizol has expanded its long-standing partnership with India-based Arihant Innochem, a distributor of specialty chemicals across health, home, and personal care markets. The strategic collaboration now also includes Lubrizol’s portfolio of nutraceutical ingredients.
The partners say the move builds on their successful collaboration over the last three decades. Partnering with Arihant Innochem enables Lubrizol to advance its health and wellness solutions in the Indian market.

Arihant Innochem supports and distributes pharmaceutical excipients, personal and home care ingredients, and biopharmaceutical products to manufacturers in India, South Asia, and the Middle East.

Earlier this year, Lubrizol also secured a distribution partnership with US-based Palmer Holland to expand the availability of its ingredients for nutraceutical, dietary supplement, and food and beverage market segments across the Northeastern US.
Nutraceutical focus
Lubrizol’s nutraceutical business, Lubrizol Life Science, offers active ingredients and excipients for various health areas, such as beauty-from-within, mental health, and women’s health.
For example, a recent clinical study demonstrated that its Curcushine microcapsules with curcumin extracts reduced wrinkles, forehead lines, and brown spot coverage, increasing skin luminosity and homogeneity.
At Vitafoods Europe 2025, Lubrizol showcased how its microencapsulation technology improves bioavailability and ingredient absorption for effective results.
The company developed a prototype formulation with its Magshape microencapsulated magnesium for a melt-in-your-mouth powdered stick to support on-the-go post-workout convenience.
