Vitafoods Europe 2025: Beneo features weight loss benefits of prebiotics and palatinose

At the recent Vitafoods Europe trade show, Annelore de Boe, product manager of functional fibers at Beneo, told us how the company’s solutions can support the increasingly growing categories of weight management. For example, Beneo’s prebiotic fibers can help close the fiber gap or reduce foods’ sugar and fat content. Silke Ullmann, nutrition communication manager, presented research on Beneo’s chicory root inulin and oligofructose, which can help reduce body weight and waist circumference. She also highlighted research revealing that Beneo’s palatinose ingredient stimulates the release of GLP-1 hormones in the gut.
